Grateful for my dad, Bob, today. Here he is at a recent campaign debate.
I grew up with my dad knocking doors for great candidates and speaking out locally for education reform (he was a social studies teacher at a local public school for 37 years).
And one of my earliest memories is of him and my Aunt Joan coming back from a Washington, DC march in the wee hours of the morning—inspired to keep fighting for economic and racial justice.
It’s pretty darn special to have him join the campaign, holding signs, making phone calls, and hosting gatherings like the one pictured above.
