My friends, this blog is a two-fer.
It’s for days 91 and 90 in our count down.
Here are two things to know:
- In truth, last night I fell asleep while reading to Isaiah (my son) and I missed writing this blog.
- In a political campaign a day feels like an hour and an hour feels like a year.
Our campaign for State Senate took a huge leap forward in the last days.
Yesterday, the day started veeeerrrrry early. I met with Congressman John Olver, a core group of Amherst organizers, and a Northampton City Counselor. In the evening, I went to State Senator Eric Lessers’ election kick off and the CAN climate debate a local Junior High School. (You can see Sen. Lesser in the picture above. I’ll write more about the senator in a future blog. Let me just say now: His support of my campaign means a great deal.)
Today I was up in Greenfield in the morning and have been deep in research mode this evening—delving into State policy around health care and the environment.
The campaign team has been even busier, kicking off canvassing in Northampton with trainings and days of action. And churning away on a social media strategy and more.
And it’s only going to get busier from here.
Good to be with you in this race to represent our beautiful district.
